Story of our School
The Queen Elizabeth School is single track school that only offers French Immersion programming for students from Kindergarten to Grade 6. The Queen Elizabeth School staff sets high expectations for student achievement in both official languages.

The Queen Elizabeth School opened on September 6, 1949. It was originally named The East Ward Public School. In September 1952, a letter of approval from Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II was received by the Perth Board of Education to name the school The Queen Elizabeth School. There is a substantial history at the school, as families have had numerous generations in attendance.

There is a spirit of achievement and community abound, as indicated by one of the teaching staff: “The children and families are awesome because of commitment to education, dedication and teamwork. It’s a very special place to be.” Mrs. Kennedy (Grade 3).

We strive for excellence - inspiring hearts and minds is our school mission.

We are located at 80 Wilson Street East, Perth, Ontario.
